President’s Report
•
Emergency repairs were necessary at back loop lift station as the fuses overheated in the main circuit box and the 2 pumps quit working.
We had to call Correct Equipment for repairs and Hemleys truck to extract sewage until repairs made. Total cost: $1800
•
New shed built @ sewer plant for UV light treatment. Cost: $1900
Repairs made to community John Deere mower. Cost: $984
This is a commercial-type mower and worth the repairs while parts or still available.
New locks and paint needed to finish up.

Dept of Health – A mandatory sanitation inspection was performed on our water pump system. Cost: $840. A dehumidifier was
recommended for the pump house. Report coming in the mail.
Old business
•
Beach Repairs (building permit; hydrolic permit app).
After 2 years of working with Pierce County, TBBC has been granted
the necessary work permit to build the bulkhead
and soft-armoring.
We are continuing to work with Dept of Fish & Wildlife for our
hydrolic
permit.
•
Rental Policy – some interest was shown in past community meetings to develop a policy restricting number of rental properties in our
community. Further investigation needed and an attorney consult.
•
Tree removal @ Park; beach; sewer line along Graybeal’s
Steve is presently seeking bids to take down these trees. First bid came in @ $3900. Another bid needed by bonded and licensed
contractor.

Facilities Manual – almost completed.
•
Sewer Plant upgrades: waiting for a quote & logistics (Andrew of GHC) on re-coating our sewer tank and scheduling anode
inspections/replacement.
•
Water meter inventory – location of water meters on each lot will take place sometime this fall by Steve. It would help if each member
could locate their own meter.
•
Joe Forkner: no water
A small backhoe has been rented to dig along TBBC water line from his meter to the main line to try and locate blockage.
New Business
•

Cabana stairs: work to replace the stairs with new treated lumber & gravel will begin the week of July 28 .
•
New security system research: Steve called about buying a stainless steel box to locate next to our gate and store our equipment.
Costs run $2,000 - $3,000 for the box only. It was decided that a new digital
system should come first (showing license plates, etc) and then decide how
to house it. It was reiterated again that the GATE security system
purpose is to show vandalism/damage to entry gate, not for each
neighbor’s security. Each neighbor should install their own system if
he/she
has concerns regarding protecting their own property.
